Sarah Dessen!

One of my favorite authors of all time is Sarah Dessen. From the middle school book fairs, till now I have been a fan of her books. Although her books are easy reads considering they were written for a younger age group, I am so happy to have rediscovered her books. Of the 14 books that she has written I have read 12 of them since quarantine started. Getting back into reading...

Getting back into reading has been really exciting for me. During quarantine I found the screen time on my phone was reaching new highs. I decided the best way to pass the time and keep busy was to reread some of the classic books on my shelf. Although the majority of my books are from the book fairs back in  middle school, it was a good place to start. I have been able to say that I have read 18 books since May. I truly believe reading helps you to not only release some of the stressors of daily life, but also put yourself into a different world. Finishing a good book is such a good feeling that some don't realize. Looking forward to the next read. :)
